The Heart Behind Caretta Mare
Greetings! We are Kerstin and Fatih Tunalı, the couple behind both Villa Caretta and our newest offering: Caretta Mare, a charming 1-bedroom apartment in Kalamar. Our love story began in the picturesque town of Kalkan in 2003 - Fatih, a local since 1993, and I, Kerstin from Hamburg, Germany, found each other and a shared passion for this stunning region. In 2008, I left Hamburg behind to begin a new life in Kalkan with Fatih.

From Villa Caretta to Caretta Mare
After turning our dream into reality with Villa Caretta in 2021 and welcoming our first guests in 2022, we felt inspired to create another welcoming retreat. Caretta Mare is our newest gem—an inviting, stylish apartment just a stone’s throw from the sea. Perfect for couples or small families, it offers the same thoughtful touches and warm hospitality our guests have come to love at Villa Caretta.
